The Music ‘Sky ‘ is Big Enough to Accommodate All of Us – Ruth Adjei
In a recent interview with Ghana Articles celebrity break host, Selom Sedee, Minister Ruth Adjei as she is popular known made certain remarks about the fact that all musicians can equally make it big and give back rather than compete. In her words she said ; “I know that rising up in the music industry in Ghana over the years have not been something to take lightly, people go to all limits to make it to the top .
I remember stories that came up where lots of these musicians especially the gospel musicians because I am one , who are supposed to be people of high moral standards brought their standards down just to get a spot on certain platforms , doing things to set trends .
I believe we are rather supposed to channel our strength and our ‘fame ‘ if we really have it , to give back to society , motivate the youth and create platform that give them opportunities they will look back on” .
Ruth Adjei added that ; “ we have a lot of social vices in our society and all most of us think about is just competition while we could do more for kids on the street , provide certain vital things for our society. Nothing is little , if we all try to do little , the drops will create an ocean of opportunities for others “
