I Couldn’t Respond To God’s Call Earlier Because Of Worldly Stuff – iOna Reine

Ghanaian singer, Mercy Onuawonto Sam, known as iOna Reine in the music industry, has disclosed what hampered her response to God’s call.

Recently, she stated that she has repented.

iOna Reine has been doing renditions of Gospel songs after she declared her repentance.

The songstress told Graphic Showbiz in an interview that she couldn’t respond to God’s call earlier because of worldly stuff.

According to iOna, she is now prepared to do what God wants her to do.

“I made a serious effort to respond to God’s call and to reach out to those who have strayed from Him. Previously, my focus on worldly music did not represent what God wanted from me.

“However, I am now prepared to go full force into producing gospel music. I’ve decided to do music that uplifts people’s spirits so that I can be a useful instrument for my Lord,” she said.
