Some Collaborations Can Kill Your Shine – Cindy Thompson Reveals
Renowned gospel musician, Cindy Thompson has revealed that, as an artiste, there are some collaborations that can kill your shine.
In an interview with SVTV Africa at the just ended Women in Worship 2019, Cindy Thompson told DJ Nyaami that, she doesn’t jump onto any collaborations because there are some collaborations that can completely wipe away your shine in a split second.
“When it comes to featuring, there are a lot of people but you just can’t get up and feature anybody, you first need to pray about it because there are some people, when you feature them, they’ll kill your shine and others, will uplift you. Some featuring are also just for fun but I’m not in this ministry for fun, I’m here for a purpose – to do God’s will.”
The veteran gospel musician who haven’t been active in the music scene for a while noted that, she is currently working on an album that is yet to be released.
She pointed out that, the album features Joe Mettle, and ace gospel musician Yaw Sarpong.
