Every 18 Months I Will Release a Song – Kwaku Gyasi
It’s been long since we all heard something about Kwaku Gyasi or his music which hardly reminds us about him.
His talent, charisma voice and artistry cannot be easily erased from our minds.
He has been away in Canada for about eight years and he is gearing up to marked his return with a brand new album titled ‘Ayeyi Mmer3’ which literally translates Hour of Praise.
Canada-based Ghanaian gospel musician, Kwaku Gyasi, has vowed to release a gospel album every one and the half years.
Speaking with the host of Todah Live Worship on Gye Nyame 94.5 FM Happy Dot Com, the ‘Enye Mahuoden’ hit maker said, “I won’t be staying long in Canada this time around after the release of my album.”
“I promise my fans that I would be releasing a gospel song every one and half years because I am loaded with many songs in me. I will release more gospel songs so that my fans would be blessed with the gospel of Jesus Christ.” he said.
He also revealed that, fellow gospel acts should not live a wayward life but live their lives in accordance with the messages they preach in their songs.
The award-winning gospel singer broke through the music scene in 2004 with his hit gospel song, “Ayeyi”.
The energetic gospel singer became the toast among the gospel musicians and ‘woe betides’ any music event organizer who organizes a show and leaves out Kwaku.
He was born on the 17th December, 1977 in Kumasi to Mr. Kwame Kyei and Mad. Angelina Appiah all traders from Elmina. Kwaku grew up at Asafo in Kumasi, started schooling at APS and went on to Kumasi Technical Institute (KTI) where he graduated in 1996.
