Ohemaa Mavis to Release Second Album, ‘Wayi Me’ (He has Chosen Me)
After a breakthrough hit with her debut album (Onyame Ayebi, 2012) in the Gospel music scene, the talented gospel singer and the only Vibrant Police Woman in the Ghanaian Gospel music industry, Ohemaa Mavis is ready to follow the album’s success with another unique album in the month of April.
The Anointed female Gospel Artiste Ohemaa Mavis is kicking off the month of April with the release of “Wayi Me,” her second studio album which literally translates ‘He has Chosen Me’.
Ohemaa’s must-hear second album is central to her purpose of preaching Christ to the world through music.
The single is also poised to become another landmark song in Ohemaa’s career.
“I am beyond thrilled to be releasing my second album! My hope is that it ministers to both churches and individuals, serving as a genuine response to the call to follow Christ – this is what makes us all God’s Chosen,” she told GospelEmpireGh.Com in an interview.
According to her, the album carries a strong message of God’s grace, thanksgiving and healing.
Ohemaa Mavis on her new song, “The new album titled Wayi Me is an inspirational, thanksgiving, motivational album written to express the promiscuous love of Christ Jesus. It’s a grace to be favoured and chosen amongst the lot. All should trust the most High that at the right time, he will make things work out for our good in a way that we may be counted among the chosen ones. ”
Gospel sensation Ohemaa Mavis was born in Kumasi and an active Member of the New Life Revival Outreach Church (New Life Sanctuary) for some years now.
Her passion for music all started when she was age 13 years and it all started at the church of Pentecost when she was in Sunday school.
Ohemaa has ministered at various churches and platforms with renowned Ghanaian gospel musicians.
Ohemaa has since risen from the level of a fledgling artiste to a certain confident, recently branded singer in the Ghanaian gospel music industry.
