My Wife Left Me When I Went Broke – Evg. Edward Akwasi Boateng
Evangelist Edward Akwasi Boateng, a veteran gospel singer, has revealed that the reason for the breakdown of his marriage was financial difficulties.
In an interview with Dave Hammer on Hello Entertainment Review, the singer revealed that his wife was constantly threatening divorce before her family finally brought his ‘Etiri nsa’.
He went on to say that many pastors, including Evangelist Akwasi Awuah, tried to save the marriage but were unsuccessful.
He did, however, state that after 5 years of divorce, he is now free to consider remarrying.
The “Adea me pe nyinaa” hitmaker revealed that, despite his struggles in life, he had faith in Christ that things would get better one day.
As a reminder, Edward Akwasi Boateng is a Ghanaian gospel musician and composer. He was born on November 28, 1962, in Juaso, Ashanti Region, Ghana.
He began his music career in the 1980s and has released several albums over the years. Some of his popular songs include “Makoma So Adee”, “M’aseda”, “Nyame Ye”, and “Biribiara Nye Den”.
He is also known for his philanthropic work, including the establishment of the Edward Akwasi Boateng Foundation, which supports education, health, and other social interventions in Ghana.
