‘Marrying Or Having Children Were Not Part Of My Plans; I Only Wanted To Be A Roman Sister’ – Rev. Charlotte Oduro
Charlotte Oduro, popular marriage specialist and relationship counselor, has said that she never intended to marry or have children.
The marriage guru revealed her opinion of marriage as a result of where she grew up and what she seen as a youngster.
Counselor Charlotte said that as a young girl growing up in the Zongo society, her ultimate ambition was to become a Roman sister in order to avoid marriage and childbirth. Counselor Charlotte revealed that she had watched spouses and boyfriends harassing and abusing their female partners, which caused her to lose interest in men.
I saw males beat up ladies, and that bothered me. Men struck me as ruthless beings. I was also taught that women go through excruciating agony during childbirth, so I never wanted to get pregnant. “I wanted to be a Roman Sister,” she said to Kwaku Manu on ‘Aggressive Show.’
The marital guru went on to explain how her mother made sure she lived a chaste life, avoided bad company, and guided her to God. Counselor Charlotte claims she married her husband while still a virgin.
“My mother lead me to God,” she explained. She has no friends other than members of her religion. In her room, she was usually reading the Bible. Despite the fact that we lived in Zongo, our way of life was distinct. She instilled terror in us by warning us not to have sex with men or we would become pregnant.
