Stop Listening to Kwadee & Shatta Songs – Rev Isaac Osei Bonsu MOGPA
The general overseer of Moment of Glory Prayer Army (MOGPA), Rev Isaac Osei Bonsu has called on believers not to follow the trend of listening to secular songs but rather guard their heart with diligence and be careful of what they listen to.Some renowned pastors in Ghana have hailed songs from Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy and regarding it as more sensible than music from the current of gospel musicians.
Other Men of God in Ghana has advised Ghanaian Christians to stop being “chrife” and listen to other genres of music apart from gospel music.
This has not been in the case of Rev Isaac Osei Bonsu. During one of his sermons, Rev Isaac Osei Bonsu urged that believers to be cautious of what they allow into their spirit.
He emphasized that Christians should not to listen to things that won’t edify them especially secular songs.
“You are easily to be deceived because you have listened to lies and believed in a lie. Guard your heart; protect your heart against the things that are not in line with the Lord,” he said.
According to him, believers have no control over their appetite for music because they listen to any song being played on radio.
He cited two hiplife musicians in Ghana whose songs believers can’t do without which are Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known as Shatta wale and Jerry Anaba popularly known by his stage name as Okomfo Kwadee.
“In my car I don’t listen to such song because I don’t have time for those songs,” he revealed.
The respected man of God advised that Christians should refrain from listening to anything ungodly because it could distort someone from being blessed.
He led the congregation in prayer and asked for God’s mercy on them and showered the blessings of God on them.
