Don’t Joke with Tongues – Prophet Kofi Oduro Warns Christian Comedians
The general overseer of Alabaster International Ministry, Dr. Prophet Kofi Oduro has taken a swipe at the unspeakable practices of some comedians in the Christendom.
Speaking in tongues is the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Spirit, “And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues, as the Spirit enabled them to speak” (Acts 2:4). And your supernatural language from God is the evidence that you have received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. And is the beginning of your journey into the supernatural realm with the Holy Spirit.
The bold prophet of God has drawn the attention of the public that tongue speaking shouldn’t be played with especially by comedians.
Supporting his argument, Prophet Oduro quoted Matthew 12:31-32 “Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.”
Speaking to his congregants, the Head of Alabaster International Ministry, Dr. Prophet Kofi Oduro said: “Let me remind the pastors that there are some sins that God won’t forgive you. I am telling the comedians that they should never joke with tongues speaking to let people laugh because those also laughing have blasphemed against the Holy ghost.”
The respected man of God further expressed displeasure at Christian comedians and emphatically stressed that the ‘So-Called’ Christian comedians have no roots in the word of God;
“The ‘So-Called’ Christian comedian, I have never found them in the bible. I don’t know where your portfolio fits in the bible. The bible never told us that there would be Christian entertainers. We are in the last days, very serious times. Some Christians of today are not serious.”
