Celebrated gospel music group Daughters of Glorious Jesus has said though gospel music in Ghana is advancing, several gospel songs these days are mostly below standard.

According to the group, it is worrying how several colleague gospel artistes are in haste to churn out songs without considering the quality of sound and lyrics which makes their work discouraging and unable to serve God’s intended purpose.

The celebrated gospel group explained that quality of sound, good and deep lyrics should be thought about carefully by gospel musicians when releasing songs.

Daughters of Glorious Jesus made up of Edna Sarpong, Monica Owusu Ansah and Cynthia Appiadu told Happy FM, there are other gospel stars who are doing well with the kind of songs they churn out and must be praised for their hardwork.

“Gospel music in Ghana now is improving. It obvious there are few gospel songs that are disappointing to listen.” They said

Daughters of Glorious Jesus are currently celebrating 30 years in Ghanaian gospel music industry.
