I Cancelled Lectures To Minister But God Made All Successful – Ruth Adjei
The Mercy Seat album hitmaker, Ruth Adjei, on 14th Of December, 2019 graduated from the University College of Management Studies with a BSc in Human Resource Management.
The Gospel artist who has been featured on almost all Gospel albums and events in Ghana and a trained Journalist from the Professional Institute of Journalism has now gained a degree in Human Resource Management. Ruth Adjei being a distance student was able to manage and make time for ministering at churches and studios as well.
Levin Lartey of Online Christian Gospel ( OCG News ) speaking to Ruth Adjei, she opened up on some sacrifices she had to make either for school or Ministry.
“As a weekend student, I had the weekdays to study but most of my ministrations were on Sundays – There were times I had church in the morning and ministrations after 6 pm. Occasionally, I had to either cancel school or church. But through it all, I will say God made everything success”, she said.
Ruth’s answer to why she is achieving more in education was;
” Beyond the fact that I want to pursue my musical calling, I would also want to be relevant to society in all dimensions. If I have the opportunity to go further in education, I will do that because am ready to upgrade myself and also there are people following me as a gospel musician. Even though I reveal Christ to them with my life and through music, I also have to teach them good living. I need to teach the youth about positive ambitions.
I will say – we should know that the good things of the world can be achieved through Christ the Saviour. “
She finally ended by saying, Oshida ( Thanks Giving ) from the Mercy Seat album is what she plays all day because indeed the Lord deserves her thanksgiving.
