At age 59 years, she has had not only a successful singing career but an amazing marriage having been with husband for 40 years in a union that has been blessed with eight children; four boys and four girls. In 1979, she got married to Rev Kwesi Newman.
Formerly called Amy Brew, this sensational music diva was born to Mr. Kwesi Brew of Essikado and Miss Dinah Appah in the year 1960.
She started her elementary education at the Essikado Catholic Girls School where her music talents quickly came to the fore.
