Tasha Cobbs Leonard Announces Live Recording for New Album “HYMNS”
GRAMMY® award winner and Powerhouse gospel songstress, Tasha Cobbs Leonard is set to record her next album live in front of an audience in Chicago. The live recording will take place on Friday, June 3, 2022, at Greenwood Oasis on the Campus of New Life Southeast side.
Tasha Cobbs Lenord took to social media to announce the great news to her fans. She also noted this will be her first recording in front of an audience since 2015, as she expresses excitement and eagerness to see her fans at the event.
“IT’S HAPPENING! I can’t wait to see you IN CHICAGO June 3rd!! I haven’t recorded LIVE in front of an audience since 2015! These songs, these moments… IT WILL BE AN EXPERIENCE THAT WILL IMPACT OUR FUTURE!” the ‘Break Every Chain’ singer penned on Instagram, ”

Also taking to social media, Tasha Cobbs Leonard revealed the title of the new album to be “HYMNS,” and guest appearances set to feature in the live recording; Karen Clark Sheard, Natalie Grant, and Ricky Dillard.
“HYMNS” will serve as a follow-up to her chart-topping album, “ROYALTY” (Live At The Ryman) which dropped in 2020.
